The maveo box is maveo’s central control unit. It processes and passes on information from sensors and openers. The maveo stick is used for communication between the opener and maveo box. If you have a gate with an electric opener in addition to the garage door and also want to open it using maveo, conveniently from your mobile phone, you can buy an additional maveo stick separately. It requires no external energy source and is simply plugged into the opener’s control unit. You need one maveo stick per door or gate.

With maveo you know whether the garage door or gate is currently being opened, or whether everything is closed – the way it should be. maveo sends a message to your smartphone’s lock screen, even when you are not at home.
Door and gate openers from Marantec and MFZ are connected to maveo via the opener control unit. In order to do so, the maveo stick is simply plugged into the MS-bus connection on the control unit. Then the system can be programmed and read.
Bluetooth® replaces a cable connection with wireless signal transmission between devices over short distances. It connects the maveo stick in the door opener to the maveo box and other Bluetooth®products.
